Stay Ahead of Your Factory Recommended Schedule

Never lose time on the water! Following your boat’s recommended service intervals keeps you running smoothly and prevents costly repairs down the road.

Annual Service Must-Dos

  • Engine Oil & Filter Change: Old oil breaks down, gets dirty and causes engine wear — fresh oil = longer life
  • Gear Oil Change: old dirty gear oil can damage your gear case, and if your gear case has a leak then watery gear oil can freeze and ruin your drive unit.
  • Fuel Filter Change: Clogged fuel filters causes poor performance

1-3 Year Service Must-Dos:

  • Water Pump Impeller: Rubber impellers degrade over time (even with low hours). Replace every 1–3 years per your factory recommended schedule to avoid failure and overheating.
  • Alternator Belt: rubber belts deteriorate over time. Replace every 3 years to prevent failure and a bad day out on the water.
  • Anodes: Anodes prevent destructive corrosion on your outdrive. An old, worn out anode loses its anti-corrosion properties and your drive case will deteriorate.

3–5 years:

  • Spark Plugs and Wires: Keep your boat performing at peak performance
  • Thermostat: An old stuck thermostat can cause overheating and engine failure
