Our Lake George Sailing School has courses for Beginner and Intermediate Sailors

Two-Day Sailing Course

• Saturday & Sunday 9 am to 4 pm
• One-Hour Lunch Break and On-The-Water Instruction
• No More Than Four Students Per 22′ Boat; Each Boat with Instructor

The objective at our Lake George Sailing School is to teach you how to be a valuable crew member and to be a competent skipper as well. Each day starts with a classroom session, and then it’s out on the waters of beautiful Lake George. You’ll have plenty of hands-on training in various positions on the boat, including helmsman. Some of the things covered in the class are:

• Orientation to the Sailboat
• Tacking and Jibing
• Reading the Wind
• Docking and Anchoring
• Points of Sail
• Basic Right of Way Rules
• Sail Trim
• Water Safety
